All I can say is that our summer was jam packed and although it seemed exhausting or even annoying at the time, I look back and realize that this was one of the best summers our family has had in a long time!
It all started with our trip to Goblin Valley in April. Then just Korbin and I set off on a river rafting trip the first week of June. We got home unpacked, repacked then jumped a plane to Canada to visist Brad's family and friends. We returned in July celebrated Korbin's 7th birthday and hit local campsites about every other weekend.
August held more camping as well as diabetes camp, not to mention Korbin starting second grade!
September was more camping and the annual Taylor family cabin excursion. To top it off we had one last offical camping trip with my parents to Moab in October. As for November, we are planning to head down South to Mesquite, NV to stay with family for Thanksgiving and hopefully see some dearly missed friends who live nearby.
Everything else in between has consisted of work, my school, Korbin's homework, doctors appointments, swine flu, stress management and remembering to breathe at the same time.
Needless to say we have been trying to enjoy life when we can because we find ourselves saying all to often, "Our life is too busy to do this right now..." or "We'll do this when..." Truth is...life is always going to be too busy, money is always going to be too tight but if we always use excuses not to do these things, when will we do them? Our memories are being made now.
